‘Why I Borrowed’ Campaign
The Illegal Money Lending Team have launched a new campaign this week to encourage loan shark victims to come forward and report what’s happening.
The campaign runs from Monday 15 to Friday 19 January and consists of tweets, advice articles and real-life victim stories being shared from their Stop Loan Sharks Facebook page (www.facebook.com/stoploansharksproject) and Twitter account (@LoanSharkNews).
The campaign is raising awareness of loan sharking and the help that’s available to victims through the IMLT. Please visit the below links to watch real-life stories of victims who’ve had their lives turned upside down because of a loan shark.
