whitehorseproject_drummerThe White Horse Project works with young people, 11-18 years. We have premises in Waterfoot, called The Boilerhouse, where we offer a range of activities.

Currently our programme includes One Grade Higher (study support sessions using computers), Art & Media, Music Project, Dance and Deepen – Friday social night. We also offer mentoring and counselling and volunteering opportunities.

We work in partnership with many organisations – voluntary and statutory – and this enables us to signpost young people to other activities and specialist services.

Our vision is a simple one. We aim to make a difference to the lives of young people in Edgeside. By transforming the life chances of these individuals we hope to enable them to play their full part within the local community.

Using a renovated warehouse we call THE BOILERHOUSE we engage with these young people, running social events, developing real life skills and exploring issues surrounding health and well being.
