PAPYRUS prevention of young suicide are a national UK charity working to prevent suicide in young people.

The PAPYRUS national confidential help line – HOPElineUK 0800 068 4141 – gives support and practical advice to young people worried about themselves and to anyone else concerned that a young person they know may be at risk of harming themselves.

Calls are free from BT landlines, other networks and mobiles may vary. The helpline is staffed by professionals experienced in working with suicidal young people, families or carers.
