Goodshaw Baptist Church

Return to list of services

Information on this page was last updated on 01/10/2017

Our church is governed by the ‘members’ who meet bi-monthly at the ‘Members Meeting’ to discuss church business and seek Gods will for the way forward. Anyone who has been baptised at an age of consent (where a person has personally chosen to be baptised) can apply for membership.

Services take place at 10.45am. every Sunday morning and last approx. 1 hour.  However, fellowship continues afterwards for quite some time over tea, coffee and biscuits etc.

Once each month, usually on the first Sunday we have our family parade service which enables our Pathfinders and their leaders to celebrate their achievements and spend the whole of the service together.

We have an excellent worship team who lead our worship each week and we include a mix of older and very up to date music within each service – something for everyone.  However, our worship is always Christ centred whether it be a family ‘all-age’ service or the more traditional service where children leave part way through to attend their Discoverers group.
