Edenfield is a village in the valley of Rossendale which has a very active residents association.

Edenfield Residents Association (EVRA) have been an active group of local residents serving the village for 35 years.

All residents of Edenfield are members of the association on moving into the area.

EVRA have staged many events over the years such as the popular village fete, fell race, cricket match, carols around the tree. Every christmas they put on a FREE christmas party for all senior members of the community, some of who only go out at this time of year.

They also have involvement in all areas affecting the village of Edenfield such as crime reduction, road safety, planning applications which all affect the village and acting as a representative for the local residents on these issues, monitoring developments and ensure they do not have a negative impact on the area…ie Scoutmoor Quarry .

They are always looking for new members and meet every 3rd Wednesday at Edenfield Cricket Club at 8pm. Except August and December.
