BPRCVS Volunteer Centre is supported by BPRCVS and is a volunteer development agency which provides support at a local level to organisations in need of volunteers and individuals wishing to volunteer within the voluntary, community, faith and public sectors.
The Volunteer Centre is part of a national network of volunteer centres coordinated by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO).
The BPRCVS Volunteer Centre recommends using the Do-it.org website to search for voluntary opportunities in Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale.
Volunteering has many purposes; developing new skills, entry into work, keeping busy after retirement, socialising, and getting involved in your community to name but a few. Whatever your reasons for volunteering the Volunteer Centre can help.
For all opportunities the Volunteer Centre checks that the organisations have the right structures, policies and procedures in place to support volunteers in the workplace.
